Free Gratuity Calculator UAE is an independent website that provides a free online calculator to help private-sector employees in the UAE estimate their end-of-service gratuity (EOSB) entitlement. The calculator is based on the general framework established by Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations (Article 51).

Our Calculation Methodology
The calculator applies the following methodology:
- Legal basis: Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, Article 51 (general private-sector framework)
- Daily wage: Monthly basic salary ÷ 30 (per UAE Labour Law convention)
- First-period rate: 21 days per complete year for years 1–5
- Second-period rate: 30 days per complete year for service beyond 5 years
- Partial years: Calculated proportionally using remaining days ÷ 365
- Unpaid absence: Excluded from eligible service period
- Maximum cap: 2 years' basic wage (monthly salary × 24)
- Rounding: Currency values rounded to 2 decimal places
